The German humanitarian admission programme NesT, after a successful pilot phase, becomes a permanent programme from 2023 onwards.
NesT, New Start in a Team, is a joint government and civil-society programme for especially vulnerable refugees, based on community sponsorship. It will make an important contribution on helping refugees in need of protection in the years to come. The EKvW will continue to be a partner in the NesT consortium and will receive an additional 0.5 position for a new staff member in addition to the existing team.
