The “Conference on Resettlement, Humanitarian Admission, and Complementary Pathways to Refugee Protection” will take place in Berlin from 23-24 November 2023. Registrations are still possible until 17.11.2023. COMET’s partner EKvW will also be represented on site with the NesT programme.
In light of the many global crises in recent years, safe pathways to refugee protection have become increasingly important. In this context, resettlement and humanitarian admission programs are a key instrument to enable vulnerable refugees to live in safety and dignity as well as a vital signal of responsibility sharing and solidarity towards countries of first refuge. At the same time, active refugee admission is currently facing particular challenges due to various developments.
